How to Convert an SD Rear Projection TV to HD
Standard-definition rear projection television systems are often far larger than their high-definition counterparts and fail to have the same HD connections. Many HD products you purchase only have these HD connection ports, so if you want to use the new hardware with your older projection television, you need to convert the rear projection's SD connection ports into HD. Although this is not going to improve on the video resolution, it does allow you to use the external hardware.
